About the Winery

Xoriguer gin is produced at the historic family distillery of the same name, located in the port of Mahón, Menorca, and officially founded in 1910. Its roots date back to 1736, when it began artisanally distilling gin to supply British sailors. Xoriguer is one of the few distilleries in Europe that still uses century-old copper stills fueled by wood fires and a traditional single-shot distillation method. Its gin is made exclusively with wine alcohol, aged juniper berries, and well water from Mahón, faithfully reflecting the island and Mediterranean character of Menorca. Recognized with the Protected Geographical Indication "Gin de Mahón," Xoriguer is synonymous with authenticity, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage. Its iconic gin has transcended borders, keeping the Menorcan tradition alive century after century.
