-
Origin & appellation
D.O.Ca. Rioja · Haro, La Rioja, Spain. Sourced from the historic Tondonia Vineyard, located on the right bank of the Ebro River. Alluvial soils with rounded stones and an Atlantic-continental climate provide freshness, longevity, and an absolutely unique identity. -
Grape varieties
A traditional blend of Viura, Malvasía Riojana, and a small percentage of Garnacha Blanca, crafted according to the house’s historic recipe. -
Winemaking & ageing
Fermentation in oak vats followed by an exceptional ageing of over 10 years in American oak barrels, with regular manual rackings. Extended bottle ageing prior to release. A process unique in the world that challenges the modern concept of white wine. -
Special details
One of the world’s most long-lived and singular white wines, extreme ageing in barrel and bottle, an elegant and complex oxidative style, and virtually unlimited ageing potential.
