D.O. Ribera del Duero · Castilla y León, Spain. From estate-owned vineyards at the historic Vega Sicilia property on the banks of the Duero River. Alluvial and clay-limestone soils, an extreme continental climate, and very low yields ensure concentration, balance, and extraordinary longevity.
Grape varieties
A blend of Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) with a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon— the house’s classic formula—providing structure, depth, and exceptional ageing potential.
Winemaking & ageing
Hand-harvested grapes with rigorous bunch selection. A very long ageing that can exceed 10 years, combining large wooden vats, French and American oak barrels, and extended bottle ageing. Each vintage is released only when it reaches its optimal point of maturity and harmony.
