Cuques Land 2021
Terra de Cuques Negre is a TiInto wine from the DO Priorat, produced by the Terroir al Límit winery. This winery is located in the municipality of Torroja del Priorat (Tarragona) and is owned by the renowned South African winemaker Eben Sadie and the German winemaker Dominik A. Huber . Both of them, passionate about the lands of Priorat, began their dream of making wines in this region in 2003.
This wine is made from Garnacha and Cariñena grapes from very old vineyards, between 55 and 75 years old, cultivated in micro-terroirs. The vineyard is managed using minimal interventionist and biodynamic agriculture, seeking to express the particularities of the slate terroir.

The ageing process for Terra de Cuques involves fermentation in concrete tanks or neutral barrels to preserve the purity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir. It is typically aged for around 6 to 12 months in a combination of concrete tanks and large neutral oak foudres, which enhances its complexity and structure without imparting strong oak flavours. Terra de Cuques 2021 exemplifies the unique characteristics of the Priorat region, offering a fresh, aromatic and well-balanced wine experience.
