Tequila Fortaleza Reposado is made as it was more than a century ago: agave cooked in stone/brick ovens, 100% crushed with a volcanic‑stone tahona, fermented in open‑air wooden tanks, and double‑distilled in copper pot stills. Each lot rests in American oak barrels, with the aging statement shown on the bottle. Hand‑blown bottles and hand‑carved stoppers. - Taste & Aromatic Profile
Enveloping aromas of citrus, dulce de leche, butter, cooked agave, and sage. On the palate, deep notes of vanilla, apple, earth, and cinnamon with a silky, unctuous texture. Long, savory finish with spicy touches, a perfect balance between sweetness and character. - Producer Profile
Destilería La Fortaleza, in Tequila, Jalisco, is run by the fifth generation of the Sauza family. Founded by Don Cenobio Sauza, a pioneer in steaming agave and in naming it “tequila,” it thrives today thanks to Don Guillermo, who keeps tradition alive with 100% artisanal methods. - Special Details
