  • Origin & Appellation
D.O. Rueda (Castile and León, Spain). Sourced from vineyards in La Seca (Valladolid), the historic heart of Verdejo, farmed under organic principles with minimal intervention.
  • Grape variety
100% Verdejo, the emblematic native variety of the appellation, crafted with precision to express freshness, texture and minerality.
  • Winemaking & ageing
Made from two wines: one fermented in stainless steel to preserve aromatic purity, and another aged in French oak barrels to add structure and volume. A fresher, more approachable interpretation of the Belondrade y Lurton philosophy, inspired by Burgundian finesse.
  • Producer profile
Belondrade y Lurton, founded by Didier Belondrade in 1994, transformed the perception of Verdejo by positioning it as a wine for ageing through parcel-based vinification.
Today it stands as a benchmark for elegance, terroir-driven expression and oenological precision.
  • Special details
Quinta Apolonia is named after the founder’s youngest daughter and represents the fresher, more accessible side of the project. An organic white with a gastronomic soul — balanced, expressive and persistent — ideal for transforming a refined gift in Barcelona into a memorable tasting moment.

About the Winery

Belondrade y Lurton is one of the most prestigious wineries in the Rueda D.O. Founded by Didier Belondrade, it was a pioneer in applying a Burgundian approach to Verdejo, vinifying by plot and opting for barrel fermentation and aging on lees. Its philosophy combines traditional craftsmanship, sustainability, and a deep respect for the identity of the Castilian terroir.

Safe shipping and tracking at all times.
