About the Winery

Dominio del Águila es una bodega artesanal fundada por Jorge Monzón (ex Romanée-Conti y Vega Sicilia) e Isabel Rodero en Quintana del Pidio (Burgos).

Trabajan exclusivamente con viñedos viejos y bajo principios ecológicos, recuperando prácticas ancestrales como el pisado de uva y la crianza en cuevas naturales.

Pícaro del Águila Tinto 2022 is a blend composed primarily of Tempranillo, the dominant grape variety in Ribera del Duero. The wine undergoes a meticulous aging process to develop its full potential. After fermentation, Pícaro del Águila Tinto 2022 is aged for around 18 months in French oak barrels.
