Cara Nord Trepat Rosat 2022 is made from the native Trepat variety, grown in the mountains of Conca de Barberà, where the natural surroundings and altitude shape its fresh and delicate character.
Vineyards Between Natural Parks
The vines grow at elevations of up to 800 meters, nestled between the Prades Mountains and the Poblet Forest Natural Parks, on poor soils of slate, stones, and clay-limestone.
Extreme Climate That Shapes Its Character
The continental-Mediterranean climate with cool nights favors natural acidity and slow ripening, resulting in a clean, floral, and subtly saline wine.
Careful Saignée Vinification
The free-run juice is extracted directly from the hopper with minimal skin contact. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures (14–16 °C) to preserve fruit purity and varietal expression.
An Elegant and Versatile Profile
Pale, bright pink in color, it offers aromas of wild strawberries. On the palate, it is enveloping, with good acidity, volume, and a fresh, balanced persistence—perfect for any moment.

About the Winery

Cara Nord is a young winery with an ancestral spirit, founded in 2012 by Tomàs Cusiné, Xavier Cepero, and Eric Solomon. Its philosophy revolves around sustainability, minimal intervention, and maximum respect for the natural environment.

Located on the north side of the Prades Mountains (hence its name), in the D.O. Conca de Barberà, Cara Nord practices mountain viticulture at an altitude of over 800 meters, on slate, pebble, and limestone-clay soils. The location, surrounded by natural parks, provides a perfect environment for fresh, expressive wines with a marked personality.

Its commitment to biodiversity, responsible agriculture, and rooted innovation has made Cara Nord a benchmark project in high-altitude wines in Catalonia.
