Grape varieties
Cariñena (century-old vines) and Garnacha, the native grapes that best express the extreme minerality of llicorella.
Winemaking & aging
Hand-harvested with strict bunch selection. Vinified in small tanks and aged for 16 months in fine-grained French oak barrels, aiming for maximum elegance and complexity while preserving the essence of the terroir. Very limited production.

About the Winery

Mas de la Rosa is the Torres Family's most exclusive wine in Priorat, born from an exceptional micro-plot located in Porrera, in the heart of the Priorat D.O.Q. This historic estate, with slate terraces (licorella) and vines over 80 years old, offers extremely low yields that translate into grapes of unparalleled quality.

The Torres Family, with over 150 years of experience in the wine world, has established this project as one of its oenological gems, combining tradition and avant-garde. The meticulous care of each vine, organic viticulture, and artisanal winemaking make Mas de la Rosa a cult wine, produced in very limited quantities and destined to purely express the Priorat terroir.

This wine embodies Torres' philosophy in the area: respecting the land, restoring unique vineyards, and producing wines that convey emotion, identity, and excellence.

Appearance
Very intense cherry color with a violet rim. Bright and with dense tears, reflecting its concentration and maturity.

Nose
Deep and complex aromas of ripe black fruits (blackberries, plums), accompanied by floral notes (violets), licorice, graphite, and a mineral background characteristic of Priorat. Barrel aging provides nuances of sweet spices, cocoa, and fine tobacco.

Palate
Powerful and elegant entry, with firm, polished tannins. Balanced between fruit concentration and mineral freshness. Long palate with a persistent, complex, and balsamic finish.

Finish
