About the Winery

Fundada en 1986 en Cambados, corazón de las Rías Baixas, Bodegas Martín Códax se ha convertido en uno de los grandes referentes del Albariño a nivel internacional. Su nombre rinde homenaje al trovador gallego del siglo XIII, cuyas cantigas celebraban el mar, el amor y la cultura gallega.

Desde sus inicios, la bodega ha trabajado en estrecha colaboración con viticultores locales, gestionando viñedos repartidos en las laderas próximas a la ría de Arousa. El clima atlántico y los suelos graníticos y arenosos son la base de la expresión fresca, mineral y elegante de sus vinos.
