About the Winery

Jean Leon is not just a winery, but the embodiment of the American dream of a brave Spaniard who emigrated to Hollywood in the 1950s and eventually founded a legendary restaurant in Beverly Hills, frequented by artists such as James Dean and Marilyn Monroe.

Inspired by his desire for wine and authenticity, Jean Leon returned to Spain and founded his winery in the heart of the Penedès region. In 1963, he introduced international varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, to the Catalan soils, a visionary gesture for the time.

Today, Jean Leon is part of the Torres family, keeping alive that pioneering spirit, French elegance, and Mediterranean soul. The 3055 range, a tribute to his taxi driver's license number from his New York days, represents his most vibrant, fresh, and youthful era, designed for new generations of wine lovers.
