Gramona Vi de Glass Gewürztraminer is a naturally sweet wine made in the Penedès region by Gramona, under the D.O. Penedès, using cryogenic methods to concentrate sugars and aromas. It is crafted exclusively from the aromatic Gewürztraminer variety, harvested at its optimal point of ripeness. - Grape variety
100% Gewürztraminer - Winemaking
This wine is made using the “Vi de Glass” (ice wine) technique: the grapes are frozen in special chambers (at -15 °C) for several weeks, simulating the effect of natural ice wine. Fermentation is slow and controlled, allowing for a high concentration of natural grape sugars and aromas to be retained. - Producer profile
