Scotland
Glenfarclas 15 Años
- Origin
Speyside, Scotland — Glenfarclas is one of the few family-owned and independent distilleries still operating in Scotland. The name means “Valley of the green pastures” in Gaelic. - Varieties & Ingredients
100% malted barley and pure spring water from the streams of Ben Rinnes. - Production & Maturation
Aged for 15 years in European oak casks that previously held Oloroso Sherry. Bottled at the traditional 46% ABV, just as George Grant’s grandfather preferred. - Distillery Profile
Founded in 1836 and acquired by John Grant in 1865, Glenfarclas has been run by six generations of the family. It is defined by production faithful to traditional methods: gas-fired stills, exclusive maturation in Sherry casks, and a vast warehousing capacity of more than 60,000 casks. It was the first distillery in Scotland to open a visitor centre. - Special Details
Awarded double gold in 2019 (ISC and The Scotch Whisky Masters). Classic Speyside “sherried” style, non-chill filtered and bottled in 70 cl with gift box (while stocks last).
