- Origin & D.O. Galena 2019 is an organic red wine crafted in El Molar (Tarragona), under the prestigious D.O.Q. Priorat. The vineyards are planted on slate terraces (locally known as licorella), which impart mineral complexity and showcase the authentic character of the Priorat landscape.

Garnacha, Cariñena, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. A sophisticated blend that combines power, freshness, and elegance. - Winemaking & Aging
Manual harvest with selection in the field and at the winery. Fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Bottled without animal-derived fining agents. - Producer Profile
Clos Galena – Domini de la Cartoixa is a winery renowned for its commitment to sustainability and the legacy of Priorat. Founded by Miguel Pérez and now led by Merche Dalmau, it was the first winery to serve an organic wine at the Nobel Prize dinner. - Special Details
Certified organic wine. Limited production. 14.5% ABV. Ideal with meat dishes, spiced stews, or aged cheeses. Recommended serving temperature: between 16 ºC and 18 ºC.

The grapes used to make this red wine (Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cariñena) come from 14 plots owned by Clos Galena. All these plots are cultivated organically, seeking to preserve the purity of future wines. The result is a wine with a remarkable aromatic complexity and a significant mineral component, which gives freshness and personality to the whole.
