DO Rías Baixas
Frore de Carme Pezium
- Origin and D.O.
Frore de Carme Pezium is a sweet late-harvest white wine from the D.O. Rías Baixas, precisely in the Salnés Valley, Galicia. A unique interpretation of Albariño, matured with cold and patience. - Grape varieties
100% Albariño. From old vines trained on high trellises, with very controlled yields. - Winemaking and aging
The harvest is delayed until December-January. The grapes are frozen to concentrate the sugars and then cold pressed. Slow fermentation for over 10 months in stainless steel tanks, followed by 4 years of aging on lees before release. No added sugars or alcohol: natural sweetness. - Producer profile
Produced by Adega Frore de Carme, a family-run winery with deep winemaking sensitivity. Focused on artisanal techniques that fully respect the grape’s character and Galicia’s natural environment, with exceptional processes such as ice harvest and extended aging.
