Font de la Figuera 2021 is a barrel-aged red wine produced by Clos Figueras in Gratallops, within the prestigious Priorat Qualified Designation of Origin (D.O.Q.). It comes from vineyards planted on slate (licorella) soils on gentle terraces, at altitudes between 300 and 500 meters. -
Grape Varieties
Old-vine Garnacha, Cariñena, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. A well-balanced blend that reflects the soul of Priorat. -
Winemaking & Aging
Manual harvest with sorting table selection. Fermented in 25 hl wooden vats with daily punch-downs and maceration of about two weeks. Aged for 12 months in second-year 500 L French oak barrels. Light filtration before bottling. -

Clos Figueras is a family-run winery located in Gratallops, founded by Christopher Cannan. With privileged vineyards in the heart of Priorat, Clos Figueras is synonymous with elegance, authenticity, and deep respect for the terroir. -
Special Details
Limited production. Aging potential of 10 to 12 years. Decanting recommended before serving. Bottled in 75 cl format. 15% vol. Serve between 16ºC and 18ºC.
