Rueda, Spain
El Perro Verde
- Origin and D.O.
From the Rueda D.O., one of Spain’s most iconic white wine regions, with vineyards located in Pozaldez, Ventosa de la Cuesta, La Seca, Rueda, and Medina del Campo, at over 800 meters above sea level. - Grape Variety
Single-varietal 100% Verdejo, developed on calcareous, stony, and loose soils that provide freshness, intensity, and character to this young wine. - Winemaking
Hand-harvested in September. Cold maceration at 10ºC for 12 hours to extract the varietal character, followed by fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 18ºC to preserve its fruity expression. - Producer Profile
Created by Ángel Lorenzo Cachazo and his son Javier, key figures in the modern evolution of Verdejo, under the Uvas Felices project in collaboration with Vila Viniteca. - Production Details
A young wine, with no barrel aging, crafted to showcase Verdejo in its purest form: fresh, direct, and full of energy.
