About the Winery

Drambuie is not a distillery in the traditional sense, but rather a historic Scottish brand currently produced on the Isle of Skye in the Scottish Highlands. The recipe, which combines aged Scotch whisky with heather honey and a secret elixir of herbs and spices, has been passed down since 1745, when Bonnie Prince Charlie gave it to the MacKinnon family as a token of gratitude for their loyalty.

For over two centuries, the family safeguarded the formula, until it began international marketing at the end of the 19th century. In 1914, Drambuie became a globally recognized name and continues to be handcrafted today, using carefully selected malt whiskies from the Highlands and Speyside, along with local natural ingredients.

Its headquarters and production maintain the connection with the Scottish landscape, reflecting Scotland's tradition, history, and cultural identity in each bottle.
