De Muller Legítim, a Priorat D.O. red wine by De Muller, stands out as a refined blend of Garnacha Tinta, Merlot, Syrah and Cariñena. Sourced from vineyards in the Siurana river valley, planted on hard soil and grown on trellises, these varieties benefit from the region's temperate Mediterranean climate, with notable thermal oscillations and cold winds from the north that favor the ripening of the grapes. The selected grapes are taken to the winemaking facilities, where fermentation and maceration take place at 25-28ºC. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months aging in French and American oak barrels. De Muller Legítim embodies the elegance and rich winemaking tradition of the winery, founded in 1851 by Don Augusto de Muller y Ruinart de Brimont.
