Origin and D.O.
From the prestigious D.O.Q. Priorat, in the heart of Catalonia, where slate soils (licorella) and a continental Mediterranean climate shape wines with mineral character and solid structure.
Grape Varieties
Garnacha (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), and Cariñena (20%). A blend that balances fruit, structure, and freshness.
Vinification and Aging
Grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected. Aged for 6 months in French and American oak barrels, achieving subtle oak integration without overshadowing the fruit.
Producer Profile
Clos Galena is an organic winery with an international spirit located in El Molar (Tarragona), recognized for combining modern techniques with respect for Priorat’s winemaking tradition.

Care information

Store red wines horizontally in a cool, dark place, while white and sparkling wines are best kept in the refrigerator. Avoid sudden changes in temperature.

The wine is fresh and lively on the nose, with those pencil-like, almost metallic notes that for many is a closer descriptor to minerality, which is so often used but not always easy to understand. Then the fruit appears. Also. Plum and blackberry, with something more spicy that surrounds it. On the palate, it is lively and cheerful. With a soft tannin that nevertheless leaves a deep impression at the end. Delicious.
