Origin and D.O.
Red wine from the D.O. Catalunya, born in the high-altitude vineyards of Costes de Cerdanya, on the southern slopes of the Catalan Pyrenees. The plots are found over 1,000 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Cadí-Moixeró massif, where the mountain climate favors a slow, balanced ripening process that brings freshness, tension, and an assertive sense of place.
Grape Variety
Made exclusively from Pinot Noir, a notoriously tender grape that, in the right hands, delivers the world’s most refined wines. Here it shows clarity, elegance, and affluent fruit, faithfully expressing the mineral-rich soils and intense climate of Alta Cerdanya.
Vinification and Aging
Crafted with minimal intervention: intuitive fermentation with native yeasts in 500 L Austrian oak barrels, where it also ages on fine lees for 8 months. It then rests for an additional 6 months in a bottle before release. The wine is neither filtered nor fined, preserving its full essence.
