  • Origin and D.O.
Corimbo 2019 was born in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, formulated by Bodegas La Horra — the Ribera project of Roda. It comes from the areas of La Horra and Roa (Burgos), known for their stature and extreme climate.
  • Grape Variety
100% Tinta del País (Tempranillo), grown using organic viticulture without irrigation or chemical intervention, to authentically depict the identity of the terroir.
  • Vinification and Aging
Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with no added yeasts. Aged for 14 months in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels, acquiring a balance of freshness, volume, and complexity.
  • Producer Profile: Bodegas La Horra
The Ribera branch of Bodegas Roda blends technical expertise, environmental respect, and an artisanal method. Its belief in fruit-driven elegance and origin has earned Corimbo the honor of being the only Spanish wine featured on the wine list at The Peninsula Shanghai Hotel.
  • 2019 Vintage: Volume, Freshness, and Finesse
An excellent harvest allowed for the production of a wine with great structure yet surprising delicacy. Vibrant fruit, sweet tannins, and a seductive balsamic expression — one of the most refined Corimbo vintages to date.

About the Winery

Bodegas La Horra, the project of Bodegas Roda in Ribera del Duero, was born from the desire to express Ribera del Duero Tempranillo from an ecological, refined, and modern perspective. With high-altitude vineyards and endurable methods, La Horra produces wines that prioritize fruit, silky texture, and purity of expression. Corimbo is its flagship, and each vintage reflects the project's evolution and merit.
