Established by renowned winemaker Benjamín Romeo, Bodega Contador is synonymous with excellence, devotion, and perfectionism in the D.O.Ca. Rioja. Found in the town of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, in the heart of Rioja, the winery works with dry-farmed vineyards cultivated using bush training, where the native Tempranillo variety reaches its peak. The predominantly clay-limestone soils and the moderate continental climate with Atlantic influence give the grapes a unique concentration and freshness.

Benjamín Romeo's philosophy combines respect for Rioja tradition with innovative techniques, achieving wines of great complexity and elegance.
