About the Winery

Clos Galena - Domini de la Cartoixa, founded in 1999 by Miguel Pérez Cerrada, is a leading winery in the prestigious Priorat D.O.Q. (D.O.Q.), renowned for its commitment to sustainability and organic production. Located in the municipality of El Molar, Tarragona, the winery combines respect for the natural environment with oenological innovation to produce wines of great character and personality.

Clos Galena's vineyards extend over licorella slate soils, typical of the region, which lend minerality and depth to its wines. The altitude, orientation, and Mediterranean climate with continental influences contribute to optimal grape ripening. The winery practices organic and sustainable viticulture, certified by the Catalan Council for Organic Agricultural Production (CCPAE), thus ensuring the highest quality and respect for the environment.

Each grape variety is cultivated and vinified independently to preserve its unique characteristics.
