Created in 1996 in southwest France, Citadelle was the first artisanal French gin, inspired by a recipe from 1771.

Located in southwest France, Citadelle Gin is crafted in the same château that cultivates its own juniper and citrus trees, using artisanal methods to preserve each botanical’s essence.
Balanced citrus and spice aroma & flavor
On the nose, it reveals ripe citrus and juniper. On the palate, it unfolds into a dry, elegant harmony with a long finish full of sweet spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.

Store distillates in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and temperature fluctuations. Be sure to close the bottles tightly after each use to preserve their quality and flavor.

Citadelle uses genièvre from Château de Bonbonnet and 19 separately infused plants, such as genièvre, coriander, cardamom and more. Distillation in small copper charentais stills preserves its qualities, resulting in a gin of exceptional quality.
