Extended barrel aging
Aged for 12 months in carefully selected French (55%) and American (45%) oak barrels, 17% of which are new. This aging process contributes notes of vanilla, cocoa, blond tobacco, and a subtle smoky touch that integrate seamlessly with the fruit, elevating the wine's intricacy and character.
High-altitude vineyards
Sourced from Fompedraza Estate, located nearly 900 meters above sea level in the heart of Ribera del Duero, on soils affluent in carbonates and pebbles. About the Winery

Pago del Cielo is the Ribera del Duero project of the legendary Torres Family, world-renowned for its century-long history and commitment to quality and sustainability. This winery was founded to produce expressive, high-altitude wines with a specific identity in one of Spain's most prestigious appellations.

The Celeste Reserva vineyard is located in Fompedraza (Valladolid) at an altitude of 895 meters, which lends freshness and character to the wine. The Miocene and Quaternary soils, rich in limestone and clay, and the area's extreme climate profoundly shape the personality of its wines.

Celeste Reserva represents the balance between modernity and tradition, crafted with care and precision, and aged in French and American oak barrels to achieve a refined expression of the Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grape.

Appearance
Deep cherry red with a garnet rim. Clean, bright, and full-bodied.

Nose
Complex and well-defined aromas: blackberry, plum, and blackcurrant; licorice, cedar, cocoa, and vanilla; hints of blond tobacco and clove; and a very elegant balsamic and mineral background.

Palate
Powerful, structured, and enveloping. Round and ripe tannins, balanced acidity, and a dense body. Flavors of candied black fruit, dark chocolate, Mediterranean herbs, and fine toasty notes from the barrel.

Finish
Long, subtle, and persistent, with notes of sweet spices and very ripe fruit.
