Cara Nord Trepat 2023 is a unique red wine made entirely from the native Trepat grape. It is born at 800 m above sea level between the natural parks of the Prades Mountains and the Bosc de Poblet, in the D.O. Conca de Barberà. - Extreme geology and living biodiversity
The vineyards thrive on slate and clay-limestone soils in rugged landscapes with rocky outcrops, oak and holm oak forests. Dry farming, native ground cover, and minimal intervention ensure sustainable viticulture. - Continental climate with Mediterranean soul
The combination of cool nights, high sunlight exposure, and moderate rainfall delays ripening, preserves acidity, and creates a fresh, fruity profile. Vineyard average temperature: 13 °C. Sunlight: 2,700 hours/year. - Respectful winemaking, pure expression
Fermented at low temperatures (18–23 °C) and aged for 10 months in stainless steel tanks, Cara Nord Trepat maintains its fresh, varietal character without any makeup. - Vibrant and expressive tasting note
Deep cherry color with violet hues. On the nose, fresh red fruits like cherry and blackberry. On the palate, lively entry, light-bodied with herbal notes and a refreshing finish that evokes Atlantic freshness.
