Cal Pla Negre, a wine treasure of the Priorat D.O., was born in the historic family winery of Celler Cal Pla, known as Mas d'en Compte Black Slate Porrera in the United States. Rooted in Porrera since 1814, this little gem embodies a rich winemaking tradition. With a careful blend of Grenache and Carignan from north-west facing vines planted on slate terraces at 450 meters altitude, each bottle of Cal Pla Negre is the result of a manual harvest and controlled fermentation. Its 12-month aging in French and American oak barrels reveals a wine that fuses history, terroir and craftsmanship in every sip, highlighting the excellence of the Priorat region.
