About the Winery

Buffalo Trace Distillery is the oldest continuously operating distillery in the United States, located in Frankfort, Kentucky, and operating since 1775. Renowned for its superiority and tradition, it has survived wars, Prohibition, and more than two centuries of history. This distillery is famous for producing some of the world's most prestigious bourbons, such as Pappy Van Winkle and Eagle Rare. Its process is based on the use of corn, rye, and malted barley, slow fermentation, careful distillation, and aging in new, charred American white oak barrels in historic warehouses.
