Mascaró V.O. Brandy is the emblem of the house, crafted for over 75 years in Vilafranca del Penedès, staying true to its identity and character.
Handcrafted Double Distillation Method
Each wine from Penedès is distilled separately in copper stills to obtain the prized "holanda" — the soul of this brandy. It is then aged for 3 years in 300-liter French oak barrels.
Coupage and static ageing
Unlike the solera system, Mascaró chooses a static ageing process that delivers greater definition, structure, and varietal expression in the final brandy.
Intense and complex aromas
On the nose, notes of cocoa, candied fruit, and subtle hints of fine oak wood stand out over a background of refined distillation.

About the Winery

Mascaró is a family winery founded in 1946 in Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona). Specializing in spirits, cavas, and wines, its philosophy combines artisanal tradition with technical innovation. Mascaró V.O. brandy is made exclusively from selected white wines from the Penedès D.O. and distilled in its stills using the Charentais method, typical of cognac. It is then aged in French oak barrels in the family's historic facilities. The label focuses on a dry brandy profile with no added sugar, as a factual reflection of the terroir and Mediterranean character.
