Crafted exclusively with grapes from the Can Fontanals estate, a vineyard planted between 1978 and 1988 with Macabeu, Xarel·lo, and Parellada, grown on trellises with sustainable farming practices. A sparkling wine with precise origin, elegant and well-balanced.
An ideal harvest year
The year 2020 was marked by a wet, warm, and rainy spring that favored the spread of downy mildew, severely affecting the vineyard and reducing the harvest by more than half, resulting in a very limited but high-quality production.
High-level versatility
Ideal as an aperitif, but also perfect with fruit-based salads, oysters, fish tatakis, soft cheeses, or vegetable rice dishes. A sparkling wine that doesn’t aim to shine, yet dazzles with its precision.

About the Winery

Avinyó is an independent family winery located on the historic Can Fontanals estate in the Alt Penedès region. For generations, the Esteve Nadal family has grown and produced their wines and canvas using certified organic farming principles, with absolute respect for the environment and the identity of the terroir.

Avinyó's philosophy is based on artisanal production at the source, using only grapes from their vineyards and vinifying with precision to reflect the character of each plot. They are renowned for their consistent quality and for being the driving force behind estate cava and long aging in the Penedès region.
