About the Winery

The Ardbeg distillery was founded in 1815 on the south coast of Islay, Scotland, and is one of the region's most iconic distilleries for its bold, heavily peated style. Over the centuries, it has survived closures, fires, and industry crises, consolidating its position as an icon of Scottish artisanal whisky. Today, under the ownership of the LVMH group, it continues to produce whisky in small batches using traditional methods, combining innovation and authenticity.
