About the Winery

Founded in 1896 in Jerez de la Frontera, Bodegas Lustau has established itself as one of the most prestigious wineries in the world of sherry wines. Internationally recognized for the excellence and authenticity of its wines, Lustau has successfully combined tradition, innovation, and oenological mastery.

Its philosophy is centered on offering one of the most complete and exclusive ranges of finos, amontillados, olorosos, palos cortados, and dulce naturals, accurately reflecting the different aging styles of Jerez. Among its milestones is the revival of the tradition of the almacenistas, small producers who produced wines in limited quantities, thus reinforcing the diversity and richness of Jerez.

The Amontillado Escuadrilla is part of its most emblematic range, the result of a long aging process under a veil of flor followed by oxidative aging, resulting in a wine with the unmistakable personality of the Jerez region and the signature of a winery that is a world leader.

Intense amber color with golden hues, bright and elegant in the glass, reflecting its long oxidative aging.

Nose
Complex and deep aromas of toasted nuts (hazelnuts, almonds), fine woods, and a subtle hint of spice. Notes of caramel, dried orange peel, and saline notes characteristic of the flor veil.

Palate
Dry, enveloping, and very balanced. Elegant entry with a full body and a silky texture. Dried fruit flavors stand out, along with a smoky background and a very long, persistent finish with a pleasant saline undertone.
