Artisanal Production
Unaged, distilled at Rancho Puerta del Aire of the Camarena family. Tequila Ocho Blanco is a pure expression of agave, crafted by hand at La Alteña distillery, using only estate-grown agaves. Each batch highlights the unique “terroir” of each ranch, showing that the year and the land shape the flavor, just like in fine wines.
Flavor & Aromatic Profile
Intense nose of ripe agave with rounded sweetness, citrus notes, and marzipan. Vibrant entry with bold agave flavor that evolves into sweet fruit. Long finish with hints of pepper, citrus, and reddish earth. Balanced, clean, and smooth, yet with great concentration.

Created by the historic Camarena family, one of the few still producing 100% artisanal tequila. Their philosophy is based on respect for the land, consistency in production, and the pursuit of superior quality, capturing the essence of the agave from each plot in every bottle.

About the Winery

Tequila Ocho is produced at La Alteña, a distillery founded by Don Felipe Camarena in Arandas, Jalisco. The Camarena family cultivates its own agaves and distills them traditionally, without additives or artificiality. Each batch comes from a different ranch, reflecting the terroir of the Jalisco highlands. Tequila Ocho is a pioneer in highlighting the origin of its agave on each label, highlighting the agricultural and cultural value of authentic tequila.
