Pago de Carraovejas 2021, made in the reputable D.O. Ribera del Duero, is an iconic red wine that captures the essence of the valley and provides it its name. With a blend composed of 92% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino), 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Merlot, this wine is an excellent combination of grace, volume, and freshness. The 2021 vintage, rated Excellent, reflects the exceptional quality of the grapes grown on the slopes of Peñafiel, at an altitude of over 900 meters above sea level.

The grapes are harvested by hand, with a double selection of clusters and berries to ensure maximum quality. Fermentation is carried out by parcels, using indigenous yeasts to preserve the amazing expression of each terroir. Aging lasts 12 months in French and American oak barrels of 225 and 600 liters, delivering complexity and form without masking the fruit. The wine is clarified customarily with natural egg whites, maintaining its purity and grace.
