Gran Clos 2018 is an age-worthy red wine produced in Gratallops, in the heart of Priorat, by the prestigious Gran Clos winery. It comes from llicorella (slate) vineyards located between 300 and 400 meters above sea level, within the Qualified Designation of Origin Priorat (D.O.Q.). - Grape Varieties
70% Garnacha, 20% Cariñena, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. A well-balanced blend that expresses the mineral and powerful character of Priorat. - Winemaking & Aging
Manual harvest, selection on sorting table, and controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels. Bottled without aggressive stabilization to preserve its full expression. - Producer Profile
Bodega Gran Clos is one of the most emblematic projects in Gratallops, committed to precision winemaking and small production. Its philosophy combines respect for the terroir with modern techniques that enhance the complexity of its wines. - Special Details
