Aalto 2022 is a red wine that stands out for its deep color and complex aroma. Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes from Ribera del Duero, this wine has a silky texture and a surprising intensity of flavor from the first sip. On the palate, it offers notes of ripe black fruits, such as plums and blackberries, combined with subtle hints of spices, cocoa and a slight hint of oak, the result of its 17 months of aging in French and American oak barrels. About the Winery

Aalto Bodegas y Viñedos was founded in 1999 by Mariano García, one of the most renowned winemakers in Spain, and Javier Zaccagnini, former director of the D.O. Ribera del Duero. Together, they undertook a project with the aim of exploiting the full potential of Tempranillo and the Ribera del Duero terroir. Controlling more than 100 hectares of old vines, some up to 100 years old, in several municipalities of Burgos and Valladolid, Aalto has established itself as a reference winery that combines tradition, innovation and absolute respect for quality at every stage of production.
