Cognac Hennessy Very Special
- Origin and Appellation
Sourced from the Cognac region (France), Hennessy VS embodies the spirit of the world’s most iconic brandy-producing appellation. - Ingredients and Blend
Crafted from a detailed selection of eaux-de-vie distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes. The blend includes up to 40 different eaux-de-vie, aged for a minimum of 2 years. - Distillation and Aging Process
Double-distilled in customary Charentais copper stills, without skins or sediments, to achieve a more refined expression. Aged in French oak barrels from the Limousin forest, which are seasoned for years to provide natural sweetness and avoid bitterness. - Producer Profile: Maison Hennessy
Founded in 1765 by Irishman Richard Hennessy, today it is the world's most well-known Cognac house, responsible for 40% of global production and led by Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, the eighth generation of the family. - Artisanal Production and Tradition
Each bottle results from a meticulous selection, tasted by an expert committee and refined in cellars along the banks of the Charente River, where the humidity provides an ideal environment for smooth aging.
