About the Winery

Bulleit Bourbon is inspired by a 19th-century family recipe when Augustus Bulleit created his high-rye bourbon. After mysteriously disappearing, his legacy was revived in 1987 by his great-great-grandson Tom Bulleit, who relaunched the brand with a modern approach that remains true to tradition. Bulleit is known for its high rye content (28%), giving it a drier, spicier, and more robust profile than other bourbons. Today, it is produced at the Shelbyville, Kentucky, distillery, where traditional methods are combined with sustainability and cutting-edge technology.
